You both have good points. IMO, Devils might have to take a risk if they go to the trade route as they don't have much in proven talent to trade.

If we only give up ATrain or Tallinder though, its a win win for us, regardless of how much Malone plays. We get 60 games of a clarkson replacement and our log jam on D will be freed up.
